Datsun Redi GO AMT Variant Launched in Indian Automobile Market

The most-awaited AMT (automatic transmission) version of Redi-Go has been announced in India by Datsun India. The AMT variant will be available in two variants of the DATsun RediGo- the S and the T(o) which was launched in July 2017 and is powered by 1.0-litre powertrain.

The cost of the new Redi-Go AMT version is Rs 4,15,000 which is almost same as of the Kwid AMT which costs Rs 4,63,000. In the Renault kwid cars, the AMT trim costs Rs. 30,000 higher because it contains additional features. To Give the Kwid AMT a tough competition, the new Datsun Redi Go AMT model has also added additional manual mode and creep functions which are not present in the kwid AMT cars.

The Redi-Go AMT trim is powered by a 0.8-litre powertrain in the S variant and 1.0-litre powertrain in the T(o) variant. It also offers a bluetooth-enabled audio system. For the higher-spec variants, the features like the a driver airbag, the central locking system, and keyless entry functions are included. The features of the Redi-Go AMT trim is taken from the T trim in the Redi-Go flagships. The Redi-Go AMT trim is present is five colors- Grey, Lime Green, Ruby Red, Silver, and White.
